Inherited a can of worms...1994 Camry
Mom and Dad drove to FL from MD with a '94 Camry - one radiator flush (major overheating problems), two thermostats, a coolant temperature sensor, radiator fan motor, two window motors and regulators, resealed oil pump later, the car is still leaking oil, both fans are running when the key is turned on and the AC light blinks. Thanks, Mom and Dad.
One mechanic is looking into the fan thing tomorrow - he's doing an "electrical diagnostic" to try to find the problem. I think he jumpered something to make them run as they are, so he wouldn't have to explain the overheating thing, but who knows...
Another mechanic (the one who resealed the oil pump) is replacing the door handle he broke today - we'll see if he can explain the oil leak.
I have a question about the AC. Brief diagnostic, and the AC ran cold when I first turned the engine on and left it idling. It seemed like the light started blinking soon after I hit the gas. Any ideas? The engine seems to idle down (and knock) when the light starts blinking.
HELP!

HELP!
check for a problem magnetic clutch relay.
Could also be the speed sensor on the compressor, a very loose compressor drive belt, or compressor going bad.
Check the relay and belt first as these are the easiest.
Make sure all the electrical wires are connected to the A/C compressor (no loose wires).
