I had a new battery installed today on my 2008 Camry and decided to check to make sure it was securely in place which of course it was not and I had to tighten it down myself. When I was tightening down the battery I noticed that two wires are cut under the battery plate just to the left of the positive terminal on the battery. Does anyone know what exactly these wires are? One is green and the other is white. My car seems to be running fine and I am not getting any warning messages. I attached a picture of the cut wires. If anyone knows what the wires are please let me know, thanks...

 

Check following for operation.

Lights on front of car.
Wireless door lock buzzer (use remote door lock and determine if the beep still occurs).

Check wire colors more closely.

Solid green and white wires or a wire color with a strip of another color?
