Default Radiator cooling fans not coming on

I noticed the cooling fans are not working. 2012 Camry 4 cly. The engine light did come on so I plugged in a basic engine scanner. It told me to replace thermostat. The engine light went off, but still fans not working. I replaced coolant, fan relay switch, temperature sensor. The fuses look good. The dash board says temperature is normal and it’s not overheating but it’s running extremely hot. Also add that air conditioning not working. Ive replaced the compressor and the valve and got new Freon and still not working. So not sure why they both are not working. Do not feel safe driving it. Any suggestions on what the problem could be would be very helpful. Thanks

Can only provide guidance here and not a fix.

There was a service bulletin about a defective A/C flow senor causing the compressor/fans not to come on. The link below provides some info.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Toyota/comm...fan_ac_issues/

Normally the fans would cycle on/off when the engine is idling at length, stop and go driving and with the A/C compressor engaged/disengaging. At driving at speeds fast enough to for sufficient radiator air flow they would be off.

If no fan operation at all the issue may not be the flow sensor. But apparently one can trick the sensor with magnet to find out.

Suggest you get copy of the wiring diagram for the cars radiator fan and A/C system then find the points common to both systems. In prior car generations there were up to 3 relays that controlled the fans. Not sure about now.

Toyota has a website where one can subscribe for 2 days for $25 for access to all Toyota car info.

Typically, Toyota has a one size many models wiring layout thus info for one model might be the same as another. The hybrid cars would be different. Here try Toyotanation.com.
