Vacuum hose??
#2
Find the turquoise colored part in your photo having the small vacuum hose attached (part located next to large radiator hose clamp). The loose hose should install below this hose.
The part is a temp switch that screws into the coolant manifold. When the coolant reaches a set temp, the switch opens allowing vacuum to move from one hose to the other.
The switch should have 2 plastic pipes where the 2 hoses attach. The lower pipe has broken off and is now inside the loose hose end.
Either replace the temp switch or remove pipe end and glue it back onto the switch. If gluing onto switch make sure the holes in the pipe and switch body is not plugged with glue.
Until you fix or replace the switch, plug the ends of the hoses as one hose goes to engine intake throttle body and if not plugged while cause an air leak.
