Today the heat on the passenger side began blowing cold air. Both of the right hand vents blow cold air from outside (its 13 degrees out, and very chilly). Can someone point me in the right direction? I have an XL model that has the older style turning-***** that control my ac and heat. There is no dual climate control, and no digital display involved. Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: To be clear, I do not have problems with changing the system from defrost, to vents, or to floorboard. I can hear the mechanism changing, and shifting the air flow around. The fresh air/recirculate function seems to be working... the passenger gets frozen to death if the system is on a fresh air setting.
