I stopped by my dealer today and asked what ALL the noise was when opening and closing the driver's side door was. They say its the "door open" sensor. I shot it all with WD and also gave what I thought they were talking about -- a good greasing. The result of this: minimal change. The service writer said, "We can replace those....or if you're handy...you could do it yourself". The Parts guy quoted me something I now forget because it was surprising. He said, "Just put up with it, otherwise....no harm will be done". This is the first Ford-like problem I've had. Any suggestions ?? No risk in doing nothing ?
