Default 1994 Camry wont start

Several months ago my camry shutoff at a stoplight. Discovered a code 14 no igf signal to ecm replaced ignitor no change. replaced coil car started right up ran for 30 days and quit again. Now i have done a complete tune up, new distributor, another coil, replaced IAC new fuel pump fuel filter. If the car sits for several days it will try to start on the first crank then just turns over after that. Still getting same 14 code. Need serious help. 1994 2.2 camry

This code is related to the igniter.

Check for ign spark.

If OK check for continuity between the wires going from the igniter to the computer. White and White/Red.

If OK check for voltage at White/Red wire connected to the ECU when igniter plug is disconnected and ign on. Should be 4.5-5.5v DC.

If OK replace igniter.

Does the ign have spark when this code is set?

Continuity is the wires can carry a voltage, the wires are not broken or shorted.

Use an ohm meter to check between the two ends of the same wire, ohm reading should be 0 or very close to it say .01 ohms, etc.

The odds of a second igniter being bad are slim.

Toyota does not list procedures for checking the igniter. It's replace it or not.

Getting spark at the coil when cranking engine?

If so check the cap and rotor, coil plug wire (assuming not built into distributor).
