1996 Camry 2.2 wont start
My 1996 Camry 2.2 will not start unless I pump the accelerator. Once it's started, fine for the rest of the day. Not fuel pump, took fuel pressure test approx. 44-45 lbs. Im scratching my head. Possibly the egr? HELP! Rick

Did you check the fuel pressure over time? Should be at least 21 psi after 5 minutes.
The pump only runs when the engine is cranking over or running. Could be the fuel system is depressurizing over night.
The car may have a small rectangle plastic box bolted to the front passengers side strut tower. Inside the box may be electrical terminals allowing to jump the pump relay to start it when the ign is on. If so, jump the pump at first engine start of the day to prime the system then see what happens.
