my passenger door only opens from the inside, not the outside and when i roll down its window, it pops open, not open all the way but like when you close the door but you didnt shut it hard enough. any suggestions as to what the problem is??

 

sounds like when the window is rolling down, it hits the linkage that goes from the latch to the handle. Something inside the door has come apart.

 

the plastic retainer clip probably broke which allowed the linkage to move into the path of the window

 

i have a 99 camry and my plastic retainer clip broke. however its a discontinued part. what can i do as a replacement?
