Lately I've been having a whine come from the car around 1200 to 1900 RPM. Under slight accelaration, but typically while I'm just cruising. I've checked the power steering and brake fluid and everything looks fine. Any ideas? I also have a CEL on and the code given was something for EVAP. I reset the computer a couple times and it comes back. So I have those two problems. Would the EVAP be the PCV?

The code theOBDII scan gaveis PO440 and says EVAP Emission Control System Malfunction and says the cause could be: Vapor pressure sensor malfunction, Fuel tank cap cracked, damaged or incorrectly installed, Vacuum hose blocked, cracked, torn or disconnected, Hose or tube blocked, cracked, torn or disconnected, Fuel tank damaged, Charcoal canister damaged

The gas tank cap is fine, not sure what else to check
