Default 2000 Camry LE - Misfire / Lack of engine power

I noticed this a while back. I was driving at around 65MPH and when I gassed it hard the car would not pick up speed, the engine did not rev higher, and the car was jerking. I initially thought this was a transmission issue but it was checked and it looked good. An onboard computer read a misfire on cylinder 4. The spark plugs were checked and replaced. The spark plug cables have been replaced. I checked the battery terminals and they are clean. My friend also told me to disconnect the power for a while to reset the computer. The battery is fairly new. Has anyone seen this or have anymore suggestions. The car has 145,000 miles, I have kept up with maintenance, and I have been the only owner.

Thanks in advance,

Misfire could be still electrical. I think this car has separate coils for each cylinder. What engine do you have? Also could be bad injector. Can you do your own work or not?
