2001 Camry glove box

Default 2001 Camry glove box

need to replace my cabin filter. Can't disconnect the right side of the glove box. What's the trick? left side comes out like a breeze. HELP!

FYI your owners manual also instructs you on how to do it -and may even have diagrams like in the Highlander my family owns.

loooked in the owner's manual first................................no detailed info. will look to see if there are any screws to be unfastened on the right hand side .as instructed by previous responder. thanks any way

its good to know the manuals are being used at least...
my mom has my car along with my haynes shop manual, so i couldnt tell you how to do it, as my camry doesnt have that filter yet.

In our highlander its just a matter of using force to squeeze both sides of the glove box which will retract the plastic arms just enough to pass the frame of the glovebox cubby, and the whole box just flops down far enough to access the panel to the cabin airfilter.
