2001 Camry Service
Need some maintance experts to help me. I have a 2001 Camry with 44,000 miles on it. I would like to take it in for service. Car had had no maintance other than regular oil/filter changes, air filter changes, new battery. What should be replaced? I'm thinking:
New spark plugs
New plug wires
New coolant
New fuel filter
Check belts/hoses
Cam belt replacement?
New trans fluid/filter?
What am I missing?
Thanks to anyone who can give me some advice.

RE: 2001 Camry Service
That's about it. Make sure you get ur belts checked for deteriorationbecause 44K is low for an 01 - by this time you should be around.... 85K-ish miles and that's around timing belt replacement at 90K. GoodLuck.

What should be replaced? I'm thinking:
New plug wires - possible, check ohm reading.
New coolant - maybe because of the age, depends on type.
New fuel filter - not at 44K, maybe never needed
Check belts/hoses - checking never hurts.
Cam belt replacement? - Not at 44K
New trans fluid/filter? - Maybe not at 44K at least not the filter. If Dexron III that has longer life than DexII. Check color. If bright red you're ok, brown(ish) change. Depends on heat.
Got an owners manual? Follow that.

For future reference you can also use this website:
http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/
just plug in the info on your car and it will tell you what is needed for service at that point in mileage.
