Can anyone tell me with literally a 50% certainty what this sensor is? The wire has become disconnected, so I removed the connector already. Hoping this solves the idle/rpm problems I am having.

Relevant information:
Idling at about 600 RPMs
Has to be warmed up or will just rev up and not gain any power When driving, sits at about 2k RPMs unless between 45-55 where it runs at about 1200. This car used to run at 1200 RPMs when doing about 80 and everything else was dead set on 1k.

Thanks in advance, I just couldn't seem to find a diagram for my year range.

Camshaft timing control valve.

You need to reconnect the valve wiring.
