I am fixing up two 91 Camrys with the 2.0 engine. Neither car has over 180000 miles. I paid 250 for each car. Does anyone know if this car uses a map sensor? Where is it located? Its not on the firewall. And does anyone know why one of my cars wont throttle up? I just replaced the timing belt and the marks are dead on and it idles very good. And the other car is running and drives very good but I have to jump out the main engine relay with a paper clip to make it run. And I also have to jump out the number one fan relay to make the fan come on when its supposed to.. I am so bewildered. Help!!!

 

Engine has an Air Flow Meter. Look on the engine air intake after air cleaner.

Did the engines ever operate OK?
