I am new to this forum, please help me out.
I have a 92 camry LE V6, that has a (auto)transmission "problem". It used to drive very smoothly but lately when it shifts from 1st gear to second gear it is really rough. More like a jerk. What seems to be the problem? Please give me some ideas, Thankyou.

 

I would stop driving that and get it into the shop. The longer you wait the more likely the damage will get worse.

 

Sounds like the band is out of adjustment.

 

Seen youtube where you tighten rear band adjuster down 72 inchpounds then reverse 2 turns (720 degrees). Who knows the specs? 2, 3, 4 turns?
