94 Camry A/C flap does not blow straight out
Hello Camry Forums, I am hoping someone out there can help me with this issue.
My A/C and heat blow just fine at all speeds, however it only blows out of the floor vents and windshield vents. When I hit the button to blow straight out towards my face I hear the flap trying to change the direction of the air inside the dash but it will only blow out of the windshield vents.
I believe this has happened to my father before (he owned it before I took it off him) and his mechanic buddy fixed it, so hopefully it is something I can do myself as I would like to spare a trip to the auto shop.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

Joey,
Thanks for the reply. I am aware a door or flap is stuck, what I am trying to accomplish here and what I am searching for is a solution to fix this problem.
Can you tell me how I can access the area behind the dash where the door is located?
I really don't think this the kind of issue that requires professional attention and I am trying to save some coin
Thanks
