Default Acceleration/ Braking problems

I have a 95 camry v6 and it has been recently started to accelerate slow and the brake pedal gets to be hard pushing down. this usually takes place after the car has been running for about 25 minutes. Also there is an excessive amount of heat on the belt side of the engine. Coolant and transmission seems to be okay. When I bought it 8 months ago there was a high idle around 2000 rpmproblem that still is present. The idle was fixed after I bought but then started back up. Could this also caused the acceleration and braking problem. I'm thinking it is has something to the with the air supply between the brake booster in intake manifold.

thanx
