Hello All. Have had a 1987 Camry since new with the 2.0L engine and about 115K miles. Air conditioner works great as long as the car is above idle. At idle all I get is warm/hot air. If I put it in neutral and just rev it slightly when stopped, it works as it should. Any clues about what the problem might be? Thank you.

 

Check Freon level.

 

Hey, have you tried to ask any service for help? If I have problems and I see that I can't deal with them I always call guys from air conditioning servicing to help me. They are always nice and explain to me what are they doing. Sometimes I apply in practice what I am learning from them, not only in for A/C but also around the house.
