Default Battery Fun

Well this morning I went to jump start my 05 camry. I jump started it the first time and everything went fine. I left it running because the car hadnt ran in 3+ months. Not my choice for letting it sit this long. Reguardless it started up perfectly and after letting sit for around 10 minutes, drove it around for an additional 30 minutes to hope that the battery could maybe be saved. There was a lot of corrosion on the positive connection, however everything worked fine. Then once I got home I turned off the car after being on for 45-60 mins. went inside for roughly 20 mins. (car is off during this time) I go outside to start the car and the car wont start, so I assume its the battery and decide to go get another one. Well when I jump start it this time, I didnt have the car started that I was jumping off from and shot sparks at both cars battery connection. Started the jump car, then started the camry. The jump car is fine, however now the camry wont accelerate along with the stereo not working. The car starts, it just wont accelerate and wont let me get enough power to go up hills. It just idles and wont go over 15-20 mph and the rpms wont go above 1.5 in D. Just hoping someone may know what is wrong.

When jumping the car did you cross the pos and neg jumper cables. This would cause a lot of sparks.

If the stereo is start checking fuses. There is also a fuse box behind the far drivers side of the dash
