Default Blind Spot Monitoring

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the blind spot monitoring in the 2015 Camry XLE? Twice now mine has gone off stating that I need to have it checked. The first time I went to the dealership and they told me that they had to reset it. This morning it went off again. Both times, it has been cold outside. Is it possible the weather does this? Maybe not, though, because my husband has it on his 2015 Tundra and has had no issues.

Thanks!

Guessing one of the sensors located in a side mirror or back of car has a problem (perhaps when cold). When the system is engaged the computer runs test and if finds a problem turns it off and sets a code.

The post below is one dealers response to the problem.

Issues with Blind Spot Monitor(BSM) System?[Camry HV]

Try another dealer or keep hounding yours. Try to motivate the dealer by stating it is a safety problem and you or another driver almost got hit because the system failed.

Given this is warranty work the dealer most likely is not interested in repairing the car (they get less money). They hope the problem or you will go away in taking their current limited action.

Thank you. I do plan to go back to the dealer. Couldn't this morning because I was already late for work. I'm so annoyed. So weird.
