Soooo! How do I get a broken bolt out of the bolt hole in the trans pan, I was tighting it not very hard but slowly and the ratchet slip and SNAP!!! the broken bolt went flying across the garage! I am trying to order a bolt from toyotapartsdeal, but they're having a hard time doing just that, I'm open to any suggestions and help I can get! And you guys been great on the feedback, I have learned a lot , I have just started working on cars like on and off for a half a year or so. you have a good one!

 

For the bolt, remove another one and try to match it up at a hardware store. Or go to a Toyota dealer.

Where did the bolt break, flush with the trans surface or below?

Sometimes if flush, a small chisel might be able to start rotating it back out.
