Default Bulb?

OK, need some help here. My wife and I are trying to remember (need all the help we can get!) if our 98 Camry XLE had a lighted display on the console for the shifter. Seems like I recall that P,R,N,D,2,L used to light up. If so, how is the bulb replaced. This is not a big deal as there is a display on the dash and who looks at the console anyway. Curious.
Thanks,
Russ

The center oval section around the shift lever should pry out. Once removed you would have access to the bulb.

Might do a search of this forum and Toyotanation. Someone answered this question complete with photos.
