Camry LE V6 '92 Warning lights
I have a quick question on this Camry LE V6 from 1992. When I switch the ignition on, the ABS and Airbag lights will burn and stay on. When you start the engine they go out immediately. I only have a manual from a camry '93 available. This manual states that the airbag light should come on in ACC mode, and go out after a few seconds, and the ABS light should do this when turning the key to ON without starting the engine. My dealer says though my car works in a different way and it's alright. I'm not sure about that and suspect the lights are just hotwired to some other electrical point. Can anybody who has a car like this confirm in what way the lights should burn, please?
Thank you very much, Chris

Cannot say for sure but, iF the ABS and AirBag lights come on with the ign then go out once the engine is running the system should be operating OK.
If a problem, once the engine is started the light(s) will stay on or go out then come back on. Or if someone disconnected or removed the light (this does happen), they don't come on.
