hello, know this is off subject off motor and trans and stuff on this forum, but I today just popped the driver side tire, and I put the spare on, know it is pulling to the left. when before, I would take my hands off the steering wheel and it would go straight for a long while, could it be that it knocked my alignment off, or could it be the spare that's causing this, hope to her some answers and help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

Is this a full size spare or doughnut?
If the original tire actually popped, it could have thrown off the alignment but how much is hard to say.
If you are going to be stuck using the spare for a bit, I would put the spare on the rear and move one of the rear tires to the front.

Low air pressure in the spare? That would definitely cause a pull.
Good thing you're getting a new tire tomorrow, spares aren't meant for long term use. i know this first hand!

 

Gonna fill up the spare, and see how it drives then get the new tire, and see if I need a alignment, I thought it might be the tire rod broke. cause I heard such a loud pop with my windows closed. hopefully it isn't that. I will let you know the outcome.

 

Got 2 new front tires, so they would have even tread, and it was the low spare tire, the alignment is really good. drives straighter then before.
