yes I tried the reset procedure but I am probably not getting it right, gonna keep trying that. The air bag light was not on when the car was brought to my house, it came on after sitting for a few months, the battery went dead in the mean time due to my kids leaving the lights on, so I wonder if that had something to do with it possibly?

the guy I am trying to buy the car off if its now thinking of keeping the car, GREAT. I mainly wanted the exhaust and gas tank filler neck, but wanted the car for spare parts, oh well, we'll see if he backs out or not.

I suggest you try again to clear the code. The dead battery may have had something to do with it.

Especially if battery power is removed when the ign key was on.

thanks, I will give it another try tomorrow.

One question though, when I am grounding the two wires, should the factory pins be removed or left in place? I know it says when testing the ABS to remove the pins that are in place before running the test then put them back in. Do you do the same for the Air Bag clear procedure?
