I have a 1988 Camry *Wagon* LE (105k miles) with multiple challenges to fix this week, and I need help determining which other Toyota models & years have identical parts.

I need replacement wiper *arms*. not blades. The arms are badly rusted. Could I use some other year and/or model?

I need to replace the hydraulic lifters for the tailgate. Will parts for other years and/or models do?

Any link to instructions or suggestions would be immensely helpful! Thanks!

 

Don't know on wipers.

Rear tailgate struts appear 87-91. Perhaps the wiper arm is the same year range.

The struts are bolt on. They come with the bracket at each end that bolts to the tailgate and chassis.

Lower wiper arm bolts to the wiper arm shaft. Take the nut off, then pull the lower arm off. The shaft and lower arm socket are splined to allow the shaft to drive the arm.

Take note of the wiper arm placement on the windshield as you want install the new arm in the same location.

 

Thanks, Joey! Those wiper arms really have me baffled. Nothing I've tried so far seems to fit, but it's an awesome little wagon and well worth the effort!
