connecting the wiring for a trailer
1998 Camry needs a flat 4-connector wiring attached to the Camry brake, tail light, and turn signal wires; then all I will have to do is plug the harness into a plug attached to a trailer, so I can tow a trailer. The wiring kit from UHaul looks good, it has a converter and it looks like there are 5 leads to attach to my Camry wiring, but I will need to know which wires(colors) on my Camry to tie into correctly in order to make everything work well.
Does anyone have a service manual for this model that has a wiring diagram and can tell me the colors of the wires to the brake light, the tail lights and the turn signals? I can find the lamp connectors located in the trunk compartment.

Your colors may vary from below:
Green/Orange stripe = Tail
Green/Red = Stop
Green/Black = LH turn
Green/Yellow = RH turn
White/Black = Ground
Some bulbs are combination (2 filaments in one bulb).
If colors different from above check bulb sockets. The LH and RH turn signal wiring to each bulb would be a different color. The turn and brake bulbs would be wired in pairs and have the same color wiring for each pair.
