Do aftermarket Toyota Camry 2007 keyless entry remote key really work? something you could buy off ebay for $40. Has anyone of you guys done it before and did it work? Here is the link to ebay where you can buy these keys:

Since the key has already been cut, not sure.

The actually key part would need to be replaced as your key would be different. The starting system may also use a transponder inside the key. If wanting to use this key to start the engine the computer may need to programmed to accept the key.

Same for the remote.

Typically a replacement remote needs to be accepted by the cars computer otherwise one remote would unlike every car. There is a procedure for this, you should be able to do it yourself once you have the procedure.

Might do a Google search on programming Camry key FOB. There are also websites that only sell car remotes. Might find some answers there.

Or ask at the Toyotantion website that has a wider membership.
