ecu data storage capabilities

Default ecu data storage capabilities

I have a dire situation here, need to figure out if the ecu for a 1998 toyota camry v6 stores realtime speed, rpm and trottle position data and for how long ( whether in miles or time), i also need to know how to download and interpet this information, this is a paying gig so get back to me asap!!! the ability to index the data to specific time intervals is crucial as well.

No, the computer just runs per a program in its memory given all the inputs from the sensors.

Much later model ECU's have an ability to store data and adjust to the drivers, driving style. These cars can also have a black box that stores a few seconds of data in case there is a crash. This data can then be downloaded to determine if the driver braked, MPH, etc.
