I have a new to me 2017 Camry with Entune Audio (no apps). goofing around with the car, I see an update button and it shows me software versions for various things. I guess the questions are : given that I don't have apps, is there anything really for me to update? and if so, do I need to and how?

 

An update may allow Entune to now work with other electronics, apps, etc. previously not recognized. Plus include other changes, fixes, improvements based on complaints, errors, etc. It can also eliminate features some drivers liked and introduce more bugs.

If you don't have a reason to update, suggest not doing so.
