Default A/F Sensor question

Hey guys, I'm getting a CEL With p1133 and p1135 in my 99 I4.

I know at least from what I've been reading that that is a bad A/F Sensor.

I pulled the sensor and noticed that it's super white, not sure if that's normal or if like a spark plug my car is running lean?

I tested the sensor and it seems that there is no resistance. So would this mean that i have an open circuit and need to replace the sensor?

Thanks in advance.

Yes replace it. I believe there is an updated sensor for it from Toyota. Do not use an aftermarket O2 sensor. AF sensors and O2 sensors are completely different and are not interchangeable.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll replace it then.

Any idea's on why the current sensor was really white like a lean spark plug?
