Hi help wanted.
2004 camry sportivo
drivers door wont open.

had this problem about a month ago, had someone out, one of the cables had come off the lock mechanism.
he popped it back in and door worked for about a month.

assuming same thing happened again , wanting to replace cable as I understand these stretch over the years and are prone to come off at the connector.

my problem is I want to do the repairs myself, but am unable to open the door to remove the door card.

i took off the power window switch console but couldn’t find the cable from there and couldn’t reach the lock mechanism.

Step by step instructions would be amazing.
I payed $300 for the last repair but without changing the cable it won’t be a lasting repair.
I really can’t afford to pay labour again and the parts.

if I can get the door open I am able to do the repairs myself.

but I am at a loss on how to open the door.
