Homelink question
#2
Homelink needs 12v power.
The issue is if you want this power to be always on from a dome light or only on with the ign switch from the sun roof (if installed).
If you want ign on and no sun roof you will need to make some wiring changes.

The Homelink option was in the rear view mirror. If your car does not have this option you will need find a 12v power source to tap into.
If your car has a sunroof, this power can be tapped into and will turn on/off with ign switch. If not then the dome light power can be used. This power will be constantly hot.
Tapping into the 12v power is easy with right size (for wire size) generic wire tap connector available at auto parts and hardware stores.
