I Have an 1988 camry and i would like to change my dash lights from the stock green to blue. I would like to know how and if it is possible....would anywone be able to help me?

 

yea it's possible. I saw a guy on car domain who changed from green to blue. It looked good but all his otherconsole lightswere green, which was kinda gay.

but does anyone know how to change the lights to red? would all you have o do is replace the bulbs or is it more complicated then that?

 

so is what ur looking for reverse glow gauges or changing out the existing bulbs to a different color?

the OEM bulbs that are behind ur gauges are just regular bulbs with a green condom over them giving off the green tint.

 

where can u get a different color condom? or just put colored bulbs in? or make your own?

 

dunno where u can get different colors, but you can certainly get different colored bulbs.

if you want red colored dash you can just switch to red LED's from radio shack. They have them for like $2 a piece or something, which is actualy expensive for a stupid little light. If they don't light up when you put them in they are burnt, or you have the positive wire of the LED on the negative wire of the harness and vice versa
