I did search here and found someone asking about this same question, but I didn't see an answer..just that it is in the 3rd party repair manual. People have said that you need to pry off the plate to get to the bulb? What I did first was remove the two screws holding the assembly on..looking under that I couldn't find where to get to the bulb. Then online I saw you are supposed to pry something open, but I don't see where. Any one can explain to me? I don't wanna buy the manual..probably is worth more than the car

 

Are there not two plastic clips/rivets type fasteners, one on either side of the cover that you remove then remove cover to get to bulb? Someone said they went into the trunk to unscew it to get to the bulb?? Posting pic would help.

 

Do you have your owner's manual? I was thumbing through mine yesterday and the instructions are in there.

 

Hi, I have 93 Camry (Japaneese built) which should be same and I was recently trying to resolve this issue. In owner`s manual the pictures for replacing rear bulbs are not clear and there are no good instructions either. So I went for it by myself... I found easily two screws on rear light cover but it wont to go out. Finally I tried to remove one of two pins which are under the carpet from inside the wing and suddenly the light came out! Well I had to give it little pull - direction away from the back of the car. Unbelievable but that`s how I did it. Nothing broke and light came back in nicely as well. Good luck and pls drop a note how it went with yours Camry.
