Increasingly Loud Road Noise - 2007 Camry LE
my 2007 Camry V6 LE has increasingly become more loud on the freeway, a humming type sound. at first my concern was the engine, as 3 months ago the oil line ruptured and blew out all the oil (all 6qts). it was 200miles out of warranty, and the part has been identified defective by toyota so they fixed it at no cost to me.
i took the car out on the freeway, hit 70, threw it in neutral and turned off the engine... the road noise was still there, absolutely no change in volume.
so it's not the engine.
new tires, same brand/make as the original have 10K on them. always have aligned every 5k.
any ideas?
thanks

The oil line issue is common. Toyota most likely has an extended warranty on the fix.
Does the noise remain constant or vary with speed?
Might be wheel bearing. Repeat the process but steer slightly to the left the right to shift the cars tire loading. Determine if the noise increases or goes away when doing this.
