Default 2003 Camry - Road noise?

We just put a deposit on a 2003 Camry LE, 58,000 miles, automatic trans. Overall car seems great except for some noticeable "road noise". Noise seems constant, not changing with speed changes. I found myself looking to close a window or change the fan speed. This ill be our first Toyota. Any thoughts on causes? Do Camrys have typical engine/trans noise?

The Camry is generally well known for low noise levels and I've never been in one that has a loud engine. You might want to try to look at the simple stuff first before start looking for any mechanical cause. For example worn tires my cause noticeable road noise... The powertrain on your vehicle is under manufacturer's warranty for 60000 miles so I guess you can have it inspected.
