Default intermittent stalling.

bouht a 1999 camry 2 years ago. 2.4 automatic. on my 3rd iac valve. when hot, engine starts stuttering at cruising speed around 1500 rpm. then when coming to a stop will not run under 1,000 rpm. only occurs very rarely. also found out that if I punch the throttle to downshift and accelerate, the problem goes away. like I said, I'm on third iac valve so I don't think thats the problem. another thing I noticed was that the gas tank is not pressurized. when I remove gas cap, there is never a hiss. replaced cap when i realized there was no pressure. didnt help the problem of stalling or lack of pressure. any ideas? thanks, john

Check for vacuum hose leaks, engine coolant temp sensor, ign system components.
