Default Make it stop!

Hi and Happy New Year!

Sometimes I carry something in the truck that requires not closing it completely. Of course the BEEP signaling the open lid is constant. How can I defeat this? A permanent disable of this sensing would be ideal. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rick

The switch for the beeper appears to be in the trunk latch. Try inserting something into the latch to simulate the trunk portion of the lock that slides into the latch.
