if the car has never been raced, modified, and HAS been properly maintained at all service intervals, then you're looking at a camry with probably no problems besides exterior damage from sun, other cars, and perhaps a careless owner (who keeps the internals nice...).

I have TWO 1999 Camrys- both 2.2 and both of them had to got their Catalytic Converter done @ 90K because of a rotten smell (SULFUR) when you go over 3,500-4,000 RPM. Buy the rear bolt on- not the entire pre-cat and piping..das too much. hahaha.

I had a 94 and now have a 97 with the 2.2 both over 200k miles. Only thing I had to do on both of them was change the crank and cam seals when I put new timing belts in them from minor leaking. Your car should be good to go for a long time with that kind of mileage.

Dont buy a rear bolt on cat. By the one from the dealer and pay the extra money you will save in the long run trust me
