O2 Sensor
Hey, I have a 05 Camry 2.4 manual. I have had a cold air intake in my car for half a year. But, in just the past few weeks the check engine light has come on and both times the car has needed a new O2 sensor. Well the light is back on. Could the cold air intake hurt my car? It was made and installed by experienced professionals. Tell me what you think.
Thanks,
Nathan

the CEL codes all say o2 sensor?
typically that does mean the o2 sensor is bad (you may have more than one).
intakes can cause codes sometime and thats usually due to something wrong with the filter, MAF sensor, and vacuum hose blockages.

Wait, wait, wait. Exactly what codes are you getting and what testing have you done? An O2 code does NOT automatically mean you have a bad O2 sensor. Sometimes it's the cause of the code, but most often it's the result of an engine problem. Most common cause of a lean or non-changing O2 sensor is a vacuum leak, NOT a bad sensor. Since you're keep happening, I would sure want to do a much better job of diagnosis rather than continue to throw parts at it. Tell us what the codes were and we can offer some other possibilities beyond just a bad sensor
