Simple and maybe stupid question. How many quarts of oil does it take?

 

Is it not listed in the owners manual under, "capacities"?

 

Im not sure but start with 4 quarts start it let it run for a min then shut it off and add as needed...Remember its always easier to add than subtract the oil..

Oh yea write it down with a marker under the hood once you figure it out...This way you dont forget lol

 

the 3.0 and 3.3 use 5 quarts. the 3.5 may use 5.5 quarts. You can alwasy call your local toyota parts center at your stealership and ask. they will happily tell you.
