Ok i am not to familiar with toyota motors only chevrolet, so i come to you guys for your help. My friend has a 1998 Camry and its having some problems. When you start it it kinda revs real high and goes back down then very slowly it gives itself gas, and its kinda loud. it will also do this while driving, the service engine light was on and it shows that there is an engine code and its EGR failure, i dont know if a broken EGR vavle would make this happen. i have had a messed up egr on my car and it sort of did the same thing as her car but like two months later it started doing it again and then i had to replace my fuel injectors. So if you guys can help me out with this i appreciate it so much! she cant afford to fix her car so i told her i would try to fix it, so i need to know what to fix, cause i am not sure what exactly is causing the problem

If the code says EGR flow then I would first remove and clean the EGR and the exhaust gas supply tube. Could also be the VSV valve that operates the EGR.

and what is the easiest way to take it off, i tried once and could only get the two bigger nuts off the two small ones were hard to get to
