this is getting me mad, after replacing the dome light in my 98 camry LE there was asmall spark when i pulled out the old light. now my dome light doesnt work and even worse my powerlocks dont work unless the car is on. this is annoying because the car locks itself when its turned on. now i have to reach to everydorr to unlocked it because random dors lock. Also my key doesnt lock all the doors anymore or open them. anybody have this problem.

 

Check the door lock control relay.

maybe you blew out a fuse when you replaced your bulb. try checking your fuses in your fuse box to see if any of them needs to be replaced.

i had sort of the same problem, where my doors wont lock unless the car was on, and also my dome light/instrument pannel wasn't working properly. i looked at the fuses box and replaced a broken fuse, and after that everything worked perfectly.

maybe not a solution, but just a suggestion, i hope this will help some.

 

yea it did. i didnt realize it. i thought it was a fuse but im new to cars and my license but you learn as you go even if its the easiest thing
