Rain water in boot lid

Rain water in boot lid
Hi, this afternoon, after opening the boot/trunk some water - rain water started coming out of the boot lid. Earlier on it had rained. Furthermore, I also noticed that the rear light cluster had some condensation on the inside - presumably this is the result of the water finding its way in the lid of the trunk.
Has anyone had such a problem with their 1992-1996 Camry.
Could you tell me what I can do in order toavoid this happening again.
Regards
Robert

RE: Rain water in boot lid
The light cluster having the trunk key may also house the backup light.
Determine if the lens has seperated from the housing allowing water to enter from above.
The housing has a rubber plug at the bottom that could be used as a drain hole.
You should be able to remove the light unit by taking apart the trunk lid liner. Then reseal the unit.
