Default Slip indicator Light

I just picked up a 2014 Camry SE with 32k miles. I have never owned a Toyota before so when I was going going for a test ride, I didn't think to ask about the light if it was normal or not. After having the car for 24 hours I noticed the Slip Indicator light is always off when first starting the car and after speed reaches about 20 to 25 mph reguardless of how long it takes to reach that speed, the light comes on and stays on until car is shut off again. The drivability of the car is unaffected but I have learned after reading the manuals and some searching online, that the slip indicator is only supposed to be on intermittently when tires hit snow, ice, water, loose gravel and such. I have been driving on dry pavement since I picked the car up. I will more than likely take it back to the dealership to have it looked at. I am just wandering if anyone might know of possible causes for furure reference.

Thank you for your time.

Another thing. The slip indicator will also turn on with both VSC and TRAC turned off with light illuminated on the dash.

I did get it fixed. I took the car back to CARMAX and they ended up having to take the car to a dealership and having some sensor replaced. They were not very clear.

Maybe the steering angle sensor? I ask only because I'm going through the same issue now after a alignment

Now that you mention it, that does sound familiar. Sorry, It was a few years ago.
