It's been 5 days and haven't had the problem since we replaced the sensor.

 

Had same problem with my 95 2.2 but my CEL would flash on and off. I changed the coolant temp sensor early today and its been find so far. Until then the car would cut off at stop light quite often. Will update if problem pops up.
