Default Torque convertor clutch circuit performance or stuck

Hi all!

Could anyone help out please with the following issue: Getting the 'Torque convertor clutch circuit performance or stuck' error message on an auto 09 toyota camry. I took it into my local tranmission place and they are all booked out for two weeks and I can't be waiting that long ideally. So I got the part from the local toyota dealer, there appears to be two solenoids, one for high and one for low. I bought one new one, tried that and wasn't any different, swapped the two around then and was significantly worse and lucky to get home, going to swap back so can still drive. The car doesn't know which gear to be in, struggling to get moving at all sometimes. Clutch isn't gone, seems to be a sensor issue. (plenty of oil in transmission also). What would be the odds of both these solenoids going at once? The resistance of the new one is 0.66Kohm, the first original was 0.77Kohm and the 2nd original was 0.69Kohm.

Any answers or other ideas greatly appreciated. ( I have reset the ecu everytime I changed as battery has been off to change).

Thanks.

Might be referring to a possible issue with the SL/E solenoid tha t controls torque converter lockup.

Look on the drivers side of door for an information sticker to try to find the actual transmission number such as A240, U241 then post back.
