Default trunk got hulked

Recently, I noticed a larger gapon the right side seam of my trunk than on the left side. It shuts fine, but it's annoying to see it out of alignment the way it is. My belief is that someone who shall not be mentioned hulked the trunk while closing it on top of a big load of groceries. However, I don't know exactly what happened.

Is there an adjustment that can be made or is it likely that something is bentin there? Any help appreciated.

thanks!

You might be able to loosen the bolts where the hinges bolt to the trunk lid and shift the lid around.

If the trunk hitch in the bottom chassis needs adjusting to shut the lid you need to adjust this also.
